Wilhelm Textiles India pvt Lt was founded end of 1994 and started operations in India beginning 1995 as a Indo German Joint venture between the German Wilhelm Textiles and 2 Indian Families, both also in the Textiles Business. The German Parent Company was founded 1948 and is now in family ownership in the third generation. We are present with several sales offices and distribution warehouses across India and in other countries like Hong Kong and Vietnam. What are the key products and services that the company offers? We offer an extensive product mix for the shoe, automobile, sports goods, home furnishings and other specialized technical application, which includes Fusible Interlinings, Linings, Crimping Cloth, Spacers Fabrics, Non-Woven Fabrics, Strobel Material, waterproof membranes and a wide Range of outer Fabrics like Canvas , Denims, Satins, All this material can be in Cotton, Nylon or Polyester. We can dye, finish, laminate, coat and print them in our production plant in Gurgaon. What are some of the company’s key overseas markets? Which are some of the newer markets you are targeting? Since long our developments are based on sustainability and environmentally friendly, of course high quality products. We are proud that that our Indian production plant is operating as per the same quality standards and fulfilling the same environmental requirements than our units in Europe. We were amongst the first textile units in India certified with GRS 4.0 (Global Recycling Standard 4.0), GOTS 5.0, amongst, of course, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and many others. By being BCI approved supplier, our customers can also be assured of the highest social standards. While textile dyehouses traditionally need a lot of fresh water, we were able to implement a unique solution which reduced our freshwater consumption by 98%. All our wastewater is treated in our own ETP before being releases into the public sever system. Computerized Online Monitoring systems of ETP and stack outlet guarantee results according to our high standards. Other Key factor for our success are our service orientated warehouses in several countries, from which we can supply standard product just in time to our customers.
