Notably acknowledged by S&P Global, EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), and CRISIL ESG Score, our company’s dedication to upholding standards in environmental stewardship, labor and human rights, corporate governance, business ethics, and climate resilience has been affirmed. The company demonstrated a continual improvement in sustainability ratings year-on-year, showing our commitment to environmental responsibility and ethical practices. To underscore our commitment, we have pledged to fully offset CO2e emissions stemming from our operations and facilities. Our target is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, reflecting our dedication to environmental responsibility and our proactive stance in lessening our impact on people, the planet, and communities. This not only showcases our unwavering focus on environmental stewardship but also sets a standard for our industry, inspiring others to join us in the pursuit of sustainability. Mphasis has prioritized achieving net zero by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing its environmental footprint, and curbing energy consumption. Notably, from FY15 to FY23, we saw a 47.73% decrease in energy consumption, a 53.75% reduction in carbon footprint, and a 55% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, reflecting its strong commitment to sustainability. Mphasis is now a signatory of the United Nations Women Empowerment Principles. We take pride in the fact that 35.1% of our workforce are women. We are also broadening our CSR initiatives to include impactful environmental projects, one of the initiatives involves a water conservation program, with over a thousand percolation wells built in Bengaluru and surrounding areas, along with afforestation initiatives in Doddasaggere Botanical Garden, Karnataka.
