SECL is engaged in the production and sale of coal. The company operates 89 coal mines with 35 mines in the state of MP and 54 mines in the state of Chhattisgarh. The product portfolio of the company comprises of coking coal, semi coking coal, non-coking coal, Ltc coke, coal fines/coke fines and tar/ heavy oil/ light oil/ soft pitch. In Dankuni Coal Complex, SECL produces cilcoke, coal & coke fines, coal gas, light oil/partially distilled light tar,ammonium sulphate, dehydrated tar. During FY19, the company produced 157.35 million tonnes of coal, a growth of 8.74% over previous year.
