India’s TOP 500 Companies 2021
INDIA’S TOP 500 COMPANIES 2021 3 The mystical Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke once wrote that “the future enters into us, in order to transform itself in us, long before it happens.” Couldn’t agree more, especially when I am reflecting on the past 18 months. Crisis has now made our persistent quest for new energy, new ideas, continued relevance and renewal hit a new zenith. Business leaders have started to retrack and ponder on, “How can we better this?” It’s imperative that we answer that question, and it’s bound to touch almost every aspect of our operating models—with the microscope on building trust and transparency. Why? At the end of the day, leaders are accountable for generating the best returns to shareholders. But I also subscribe to the notion that the bigger a company is, the more responsibility its leader has to think about the growing inequities around the world and to do your part to help improve conditions for everyone. We approach this goal by leveraging our core business for positive social impact while improving personal productivity, making sure we are socially responsible by investing in sustainability, accessibility, privacy and security, and through philanthropy. As a key enabler to the Fortune 500 companies fostering their digital transformation initiatives, we, at Cloud4C and CtrlS, are geared up to make leaders undisruptable and businesses resilient with an unwavering conviction to further an environmentally responsive community. CtrlS has already engineered more than 80 innovations driving energy-efficiency and sustainability. The prestigious US Green Building Council (USGBC) Regional Leadership Award, Golden Peacock Award for Eco-Innovation for our LEED Platinum v4 O+M certified green data centers are just a testimony of our undying commitment to the cause. We owe our projected GDP growth at 12.55% to large Indian corporates, especially the companies that feature among India’s Top 500 companies, who continue to lead the way forward. We recognize that this is a daunting challenge, and it is in the spirit of this recognition that we are pleased to join Dun & Bradstreet in announcing the launch of the 21st edition of their premier publication - ‘India’s Top 500 Companies’ - as a snapshot of leaders’ sentiment, and as a road map of the priorities ahead and how we can collectively address them. At CtrlS and Cloud4C, we are happy to have built a culture of respect and care towards the environment as we take businesses to cloud. We encourage you to invest wisely too.
