Business Operations GTPL has become stronger over the years with substantial growth in subscribers as well as revenues. The Company has more than 11 Million Set-Top-Boxes seeded and has more than 4.70 Million Broadband homepass. GTPL has more than 31,500 business partners, 2 main digital head ends and 75,000 kms optic fibre including 7,500 kms of underground optic fibre. (as on March 31, 2022) GTPL offers high-speed broadband services to its customers via advanced Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. Few Notable Highlights of GTPL The Company emerged as No.1 MSO in India and has expanded its operations in Karnataka, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Nagaland. In FY22, GTPL launchedHybrid STBs: a unique bundle of Live Channels &OTT applications. GTPL has increased its paying Digital Cable TV subscribers by 2.3X in the last six years. The Broadband business grew by approximately 29% as of 31 March 2022. The Company has 4.70 mn broadband homepass. Its Broadband subscriber base has grown by 4.8X in the last six years. GTPL launched 24x7 WhatsApp chatbot GIVA: GTPL Interactive Virtual Assistant GTPL & its Broadband subsidiary received ISO 9001:2015, 27001:2013 certifications. In FY22, the Company was upgraded to “IND AA-/Stable” rating by ‘India Ratings’. The Company maintained zero net debt status during FY22. During FY21, GTPL was reported to be the only agency which completed work within contracted timelines for the commissioning and laying of Optic Fiber Cable of over 17,000 Km connecting 3,767 Gram Panchayats for Gujarat Fiber Grid Network Limited (GFGNL) under the Digital India Initiative.
