Supreme has 25 manufacturing facilities spread across the country and operates across seven business divisions. The company has forayed into different types of plastic processing in injection moulding, rotational moulding (ROTO), extrusion, compression moulding, blow moulding etc. The company’s manufacturing plants are backed by the state-of-the-art technology and complement its efforts in research and development as well as new product development. The company has been credited with several pioneering products including Cross laminated films, Multilayer films, SWR Plumbing Systems, Silent Pipe Systems, Lacquer finish & Painted furniture, Low density cross- linked PE foam, Irradiation cross-linked PE foam, EPDM foam, Injection Moulded Pallets, Underground Drainage System & Manholes are some of the products pioneered in the country by Supreme. Product Portfolio Supreme operates under four main product groups – a) Plastic Piping Systems, b) Consumer products, c) Industrial Products and d) Packaging Products. Company sold 3,93,908 tons product in the year 2021-22. Plastic Piping Systems: Supreme is a leading player in this segment with the largest portfolio of products. The company sold 2,73,237 tons of pipe system during FY22. The company’s plastic piping systems segment has good growth prospects as the government increases its thrust on development and infrastructure projects such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, AMRUT, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Sanitation and affordable houses to all and development of 100 smart cities across India. To meet the growing demand, the company has been expanding its manufacturing footprint and also augmenting existing capacities. The Company now has 31 Product Systems in the division and plans to add 4 new systems in the division viz. Electrical Conduit system, Hoses (Garden and Pressure), PEX Pipe system and Olefins Moulded Fittings (Compression and Electro fusion) during the current year. During FY22, Supreme incurred a Capex of ` 132 Crores in its various plants to build higher capacities and increased range. The Company has commenced manufacturing at Jadcherla, Dist. Mahaboobnagar in Telangana. The plant at Kharagpur is now fully operational. The increased capacity of HDPE and DWC Pipes at Kharagpur plant is in place. The company has launched a premium range of its water tanks. Overall, by September,2022 the company will be producing tanks at 8 different locations. The Company introduced 66 nos. of varieties of injection moulded pipe fittings, taking the total product portfolio in plastic pipe systems to 9108 nos as of March 31, 2022, thus adding 338 products to the range of various Plastic Piping System. The company also started manufacturing variety of specialized valves such as butterfly valves, swing check valves, ball type non-return valve etc during the year.
