INDIA’S TOP 500 COMPANIES 2022 34 D&B ESG ranking of Top companies: May 2022 D&B has always been a pioneer in identifying critical business aspects ahead of time and providing insights with agility. As a part of this endeavor, we have been contributing meaningful and consistent ESG data on public and private businesses globally. Our new global D&B ESG rankings covers over 35+ million public and private companies and is constantly expanding in company coverage. D&B has analyzed the ESG scores, through which we arrived at rankings of Top 500 companies. Top 500 companies: Overall ESG ranking „ About two-thirds of the companies of the Top 500 companies have performed satisfactorily (ESG ranking #3) in terms of overall ESG performance, whereas one-thirds of the companies have relatively low risk or better ESG performance ranking (ranking of 1 or 2). „ Only 2% of the companies have been ranked below satisfactory, indicating companies that have high risk under ESG ranking.
