Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd is the subsidiary of the company. The company accounts for approximately 32.2% share of national refining capacity and 71% downstream sector pipelines throughput capacity. The company’s 15,000+km cross-country pipelines network facilitates the transportation of crude oil to refineries and finished products to high-demand centres. Key Highlights of FY21 • IndianOil registered domestic sales of 72.89 MMT in 2020-21, besides exports of 5.4 MMT. Its nine refineries generated a crude throughput of 62.4 MMT • The sale of petrochemicals was at an all-time high of 2.68 MMT. The company’s share of production from eight producing assets where it has participating interest was 3.86 MMToe in FY21 • Spanning over 15,000 km, the pipelines network recorded a throughput of 76 MMT of crude oil and products • IndianOil grew and diversified its crude oil basket to 201 crudes by adding 16 new imported grades to its crude oil basket • The company recorded total gas sales of 5.38 MMT, including own consumption, during 2020-21 • IndianOil commissioned a record number of 3,000 new fuel stations. With this addition, its total number of fuel stations have exceeded a total of 32,000 • Gas pipelines recorded the highest ever throughput of 2691 MMSCM, an increase of 12% from last year • In the LPG domain, the company added more than 38 lakh new customers and commissioned 293 LPG distributorships, taking the distributorship network to more than 12,700 • The convenient, 5 Kg Free Trade LPG cylinder was relaunched as ‘Chhotu’.
