Business Operations The company has delivered 128 projects in 25 countries across the globe and over 398 projects in India. IRCON has more than 50 projects in its portfolio, including five international projects in Bangladesh, Algeria, Sri Lanka, Nepal & Myanmar. Few Notable Highlights of IRCON • IRCON recorded an all-time high total turnover of ` 71.8 bn in FY22, positing a yearly growth of 38.09%. • During FY22, projects worth ` 161.8 bn were awarded to the company, of which 88.9% were from the domestic sphere. • In FY22, IRCON secured newdomestic works of nearly ` 144 bn through competitive bidding. With the new orders secured both in domestic and international segment, the order book as on 31 March 2022, stood at approximately ` 437.6 bn as compared to ` 346.9 bn in the previous year. • The company has forayed into the renewable power sector to establish a 500 MW solar power plant through a joint venture. • In FY22, IRCON secured one foreign project for construction of Road from Paletwa (Myanmar) to Zorinpuri (Mizoram) under Kaladan Multi Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP) on EPC Mode in Myanmar valued at ` 17.8 bn. • In a Dedicated Freight Corridor Project, IRCON manufactured and launched the largest precast PSC segmental twin shell box (measuring 18.47 metres in length, 15.8 metres in width and 9.73 metres in height in four days) at Road Over Bridge (ROB) Valsad between Valsad and Pardi Railway Stations, Gujarat in FY22. • During FY22, IRCON secured the project for construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Railway (MAHSR), which is the first High Speed Railway networks planned to be constructed in India. The Shinkansen Bullet train has been selected for its safety, performance and reliability record. This Shinkansen track would be capable of running bullet trains at maximum permissible speed of 350 Kmph. • IRCON completed 10.34 excavation of Main Tunnels in the Sivok-Rangpo Rail Link project, during FY22.
