METHODOLOGY ‘Leading Mid-Corporates of India 2020’ is a joint initiative by Dun & Bradstreet and American Express Banking Corporation for recognizing the leading Mid-Sized Business- es in India. is edition of publication pro- vides listings of ~2500 Mid-Corporate busi- nesses and pro les of 500 leading Mid-Cor- porates across various sectors. Eligibility Criteria Mid-Corporates are de ned as businesses with FY19 standalone annual turnover between Rs. 2,500 mn – 10,000 mn. e com- panies that are purely into trading activity and lending activities are not eligible. Shortlisting Process Dun & Bradstreet has used the nancial information available in secondary sources such as Ministry of Corporate A airs, Exchange Websites and other reliable Gov- ernment websites. Dun & Bradstreet has also reached out to Mid-Corporates across the country through multiple channels such as email campaign, online medium, industry associations and councils, Dun & Bradstreet’s internal data- base, etc. rough this process, we have sought nan- cial details of Mid-Corporates for the past 3 nancial years through annual reports, audit- ed statements, etc. Dun & Bradstreet used a proprietary model (employing a combination of quantitative and qualitative parameters) to analyze vari- ous details available and to shortlist the list of ‘pro led’ and ‘Listed’ companies.
