What kind of outcomes have these initiatives helped the company derive? • We were offered an opportunity to construct the prestigious R&D facility of Indian Council of Agricultural Research [ICAR] with Bio Safety Level [BSL3+] laboratory & Animal Experiment Facility for conducting biomedical research in the area of Foot and Mouth Disease[FMD] (a highly infectious disease in animals affecting national economy) at Bhubaneswar. The containment Building is constructed with special features as - High Performance Low Shrinkage Low Temperature Self Compacting Concrete [Crack Free] used with fog (artificial) ambiance. By completing this project, we were able to secure job of constructing Bio Digesters from Verbio India Limited in Punjab. • Wehavemadeprocess improvement in Project Monitoring & Control by switching over from conventional planning to Last planner TM system [Project monitoring tool in Lean that helps to create a steady flow in projects and helps to achieve the goal on time]. We are adopting various Lean tools to reduce waste and increase the productivity. • We have our own ERP tool URCCIMS which has been created by our sister company Tactive Software Systems. CIMS is a totally integrated and customized multi-user multi- location ERP system for meeting the information needs of any organization engaged in the business of construction. It has 16 modules, including core module focusing on Remote Site Project Planning & Execution. A growing number of clients have adopted it and have vouched for its capabilities.
