The Group celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, built upon the genius and vision of its founder Mr. Giancarlo Selci. Biesse India has been a strategic location for Biesse’s growing business and the Bengaluru Campuses comprise of completely integrated manufacturing units at Nelamangala and Makali that make up a sprawling space of 35,000 square meters Sayeed Ahmed CEO equipped with the most advanced minds, machinery, and manpower to design and manufacture the cutting-edge technology to process Wood, Glass, and Advanced Materials. Ever since its inception in 2008, the plant has etched a successful path for itself by reaching one credible milestone after another. Biesse India was started in 2007 in Bengaluru to produce medium-range woodworking machines to cater to the needs of a nascent but potentially thriving woodworking industry in India. Along with setting its first manufacturing Plant in 2008 in Nelamangala, Biesse India ventured into New product development from inception which gave the company the technological edge to stay competitive in the market. Having acquired the manufacturing capability and know-how from the parent company in Italy, Biesse India set its growth trajectory. By 2012 Biesse India could design, develop and produce a whole range of machines from Sektor, CNC Beam Saw, Jade Automatic Through- feed Edge banding machine and the Rover Gold CNC Machining Center, serving the local market, APAC and the Middle East. Foraying into EU, CIS, North & South American markets, it was necessary to step up volumes, produce wider range of machines, sustain quality and remain competitive in pricing. To scale this bar, Biesse India started its second vertically integrated state of the art manufacturing unit in Makali, with infrastructure for fabrication, machining to the final tested machine.
