(INOXCVA) was started in the year 1992 by Mr. Pavan Jain and his family. Back then, as promoters of INOX Air Products, they were also the country’s leading suppliers of industrial gases in India. Back in 1990s, there were no manufacturers of cryogenic equipment in India and the cryogenic tanks were imported from countries like the US, Europe, Japan etc. This timely decision to start a manufacturing facility in India has paid rich dividends. INOXCVA is now India’s largest cryogenic equipment manufacturer and well known for its products and services across the world. What has been the success mantra of your company? Quality is our topmost priority at INOX India. Our significant list of satisfied customers all over theworld is a testament to our product's quality. Our team of experienced quality controllers keep ameticulous check on the entire manufacturing process, right from the procurement of raw materials to the INOX India Private Limited Siddharth Jain Executive Director final product. We have incorporated Quality Assurance procedures as a part of our manufacturing system at each step which begins from identifying the plate till the start of the manufacturing process and ends with certifying the job as complete. A robust business model is the one which can recover from the aftermath of any crisis. In this COVID-19 crisis, INOXCVA has proved that its Business Model is strong enough to face any challenge in the world. The company, through its robust Business Model, marketed its products to all hospitals, government agencies, NGOs and all other stakeholders, who were in need of cryogenic equipment. What modernization techniques did your company embrace to steer through the crisis? During the period of Covid-19 crisis, INOXCVA India has taken utmost care of its employees and other stakeholders from a safety perspective. We provided work from home facility to our corporate employees and enforced safety protocols for the workmen on the shop floor. Most of our welding and vacuum processes are either automatic or semi- automatic and requires less number of workmen for our operations. Most of our manufacturing processes require very less human interaction and are full proof as well. We have implemented IoT for welding equipment’s and lean manufacturing for serial production for cryogenic tanks. In the whole process, we have concentrated on safety of our employees by social distancing, health and hygiene of our employees and stakeholders. What is your company’s growth strategy for next 3-5 years? The company has planned substantial capex for FY 2021. The company plans to focus on LNG operations in domestic and international markets by building LNG/ LCNG stations and satellite stations at customers’ locations, LNG fueling stations on highways across India, development of hydrogen tanks, LNG fuel tanks for ships and also for automobile applications.
