Diversey’s vision is to maintain safe spaces for a world where people feel free and enabled as they conduct their business, interactions and lead their lives. Over the last few decades post inception in India, Diversey has maintained its leadership as an end-to-end solution provider for institutional hygiene. We brought in the mechanized cleaning trend to India with our first machine sale in 1992; thus creating a new category in the cleaning industry. Similarly, in Food Processing, we were the first to introduce comprehensive Cleaning-in-place (CIP) solutions for the food processing industry. We’re humbled to be the most prefered hygiene partner for the leading players in Hospitality, Facility Management, Retail and Food Processing industries; where-in we have helped our customers achieve and maintain their sustainability goals too with innovative solutions like Flush-Me- Not waterless urinals, Clax for Laundry etc. We have been largely identified for our knowledge and thorough know-how in hygiene. By virtue of which we made a commendable social impact through our flagship project, Garima - Diversey Diversey India Hygiene Private Limited Himanshu Jain President |Diversey India&Subcontinent School of Hygiene. In the last five years, we trained over 25,000 beneficiaries. During the onset of the COVID pandemic, our trained Hygiene Technicians emerged as “Covid Warriors” and supported the Healthcare infrastructure of the country throughout the first and the second wave. What are some of the key products / services offered by the company? Being an end to end cleaning and hygiene solution provider in B2B space, Diversey touches upon all major sectors of the economy like Hospitality, Food Service, Facility Management and Healthcare; sustaining large office premises, retail public places, hospitals and healthcare facilities, manufacturing that includes specialized requirements of brewing and beverage, food processing, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. We cater to these segments via specialized offerings in chemicals, equipment, cleaning tools, dosing and dispensing systems. Our services like auditing and consultingmakes us unique and a one stop shop for all cleaning and hygiene needs of the market. Our product portfolios can be largely divided into Building Care, Kitchen Care, Laundry, Personal Care and Infection Prevention on the institutional business side. On the F & B side our offerings span Cleaning-In-Place, Cleaning-out-of-place, hygiene entrance station and bespoke engineering systems etc. In 2020 we focused on the large fragmented market of small professional setups like small stand alone hotels, offices and restaurants which need professional cleaning solutions where customers are limited by their know-how, best practices and access to the right product. We launched a dedicated offering called “Prosumer Solutions” constituting products that were designed with specific needs of this market with easy to use products with clear instructions, small pack sizes and competitive pricing. What is your company’s growth strategy for the next 3-5 years? Diversey’s mission is to propel a cleaning industry that is founded upon scientific methods and introduce world-class hygiene standards for growing and emerging markets. With a strong basis of science and standardization, a fool-proof hygiene system can help a business grow considerably. Our strategy is to expand what we have done so far by upgrading our current customers and creating new categories simultaneously. Our current focus is to develop the market for Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Prosumer sectors. The upcoming category PRO-sumer (Professional Consumers) Solutions is founded on the vision where the world-class cleaning technology is not only accessible to organized & multi- national players, but also to SME’s, small retail eateries like dhabas and udupis; where hygiene is equally critical. We are trying to address this segment which is relying on household products that are not designed for heavy duty cleaning needed to run the business.
