15 Experts' View Leading Mid-Corporates of India 2021 How would you describe the journey of your company since its inception? What are some of the key milestones of the company in recent years? After putting 8 years in service, I realized that India, being a developing country, lagged behind in health care sector and there was a vacuum in medical diagnostic equipmentfield.Multinational companies’ products being very expensive, eventually made health care expensive and beyond the reach of poor. So in 1987, I decided to give birth to my brainchild and work in the service of mankind and Allengers Medical Systems Limited was established. From the modest beginning, we have a proven track record of establishing Allengers brand name and trust at National and International levels. Our sole aim is to provide ultra modern medical equipments par excellence than multinationals at affordable prices. Within a short span of 35 Years, Allengers is a big Indian brand name, honorably called An Indian MNC, giving jitters to other international players in the arena. In fact, Allengers today is not only a leading manufacturer of diagnostic / imaging equipments for the fields of Radiology, Cardiology, Orthopedic, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology but also expands to software applications like HMS/ PACS. There have been many milestones which we have achieved, yet a major one is development of our own New Allengers Medical Systems Limited Suresh Sharma Chairman Cum Managing Director Generation of HF Generator / Invertor for our machines. By this we entered into the same technology segment which other developed countries are adopting. What are some of the key products / services offered by the company? As we manufacture various High End Medical Equipments like DR, DRF, Digital Mammography, FPD C-Arms, FPD Cathlabs, etc, as such we have put into place rigorous testing protocols and streamlined our systems in order to make world class quality products. To control quality we have introduced four types of certificates before the machine leaves the factory premises: 1. Pre Yellow Certificate - Development of Prototype machine for factory testing. 2. Yellow Certificate - Machine is under field trial and needs more observation. 3. Green Certificate - Machine has passed all clinical trials and ready for production. 4. Temporary Red Certificate - To stop the production for the time being. We have 43 sales and services offices across India to ensure trouble free service to all our clients. We follow service part very religiously and for that we have more than 200 trained engineers at various locations of the country. Being adaptable to new technologies & features through our own R & D team is a very big strength we have. What are the factors that give you an edge over your peers? What is your company’s growth strategy for next 3-5 years? We have a passionate strong team of more than 1500 employees out of which 300 have been working with us for the last 20 years. All the Directors of our company joined us as Engineers long back. We are today a well established Indian brand with proven track record of after sales services at very reasonable charges. Being an Indian company and to remain ahead in the market place, we keep on adding innovative and revolutionary products at regular intervals of time apart from increasing our production capacities. Due to this we are regularly expanding our production areas with a present spread of approx 1,00,000 Sqm. Looking at our future plans to enter USA market in a big way, we have applied for FDA approvals as quality comes first in the priority list. In this regard we have already received 2 FDAs for our High End DRs & High End FPD based C-Arms. We understand the market better and looking at the market demand we are on the path of developing more modern products, which enables us to keep on launching newer products at regular intervals. Allengers’ equipments have found wide spread acceptability not only in India but also overseas and presently being directly exported to over 90 countries. We firmly believe that an Indian Company can also grow through ethical practices and become world leaders in our product segment. Our priority has always been R & D, team work & after sales service.
