We are one of the largest manufacturers of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) in the country with its existence for more than 38 years. The products of Rama Phosphates are marketed in various states under the brand name of Girnar and Suryaphool , which are the leading brands in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Haryana, Gujarat, among others. These fertilizer brands have a wider acceptance in the market and continue to cater to the growing needs of our country’s farming community. OUR BUSINESS OPERATIONS We are engaged in manufacturing phosphatic fertilizers, namely, Single Super Phosphate (SSP) in powder as well as granule form, mixed fertilizers namely NPK of various grades, fortified fertilizers namely boronated and zincated single super phosphate (powder and granule), micronutrients namely magnesium sulphate, chemicals like sulphuric acid, oleum, and LABSA whilst our oil division is engaged in extraction of soya oil with a value- added product lecithin. The company’s manufacturing units are all strategically located at the western Indian region where phosphatic fertilizer consumption is predominant, which is 60% of all India consumption. A NEWMILESTONE - GREEN ENERGY THROUGH SOLAR POWER We have successfully commissioned a 792-kW green energy solar power plant in Udaipur (Rajasthan) as an initiative towards environmental care and green energy. Our company is focused on self-sufficiency in power generation through turbo generator and solar to reduce dependency on state electricity board and control on power with fuel cost. SELF-GENERATION OF POWER THROUGH TURBO GENERATOR Our company’s manufacturing units at Pune and Indore are termed as wholesome energy self-sufficient complex. The waste heat generated (exo-thermic heat) during the process of sulphuric acid manufacturing through DCDA technology is energized through turbo generator and that major power requirement of production activities including utilities are taken care of. This has also reduced our dependence on coal for soya division. With the overall capacity of 3.709 MW, our company may generate approximately 70,000 units per day through turbo generator. OUR ACHIEVEMENTS As per global survey by Plimsoll, United Kingdom, our company ranked 24th (out of 405) as the fastest growing global fertilizer manufacturing company. Rama Phosphates has acquired an operational SSP fertilizer unit in Nimbahera (Rajasthan) on long term lease which is bordering the state of Madhya Pradesh. With this, our overall installed capacity stands at 6.98 Lac MT. Moreover, a new green field SSP fertilizer Plant in Dhule District is expected to be on stream by March 2023 which will cater to the growing demand in a phased manner. Recently, the chemical division of Rama Phosphates witnessed a capacity addition with the commissioning of our new sulphuric acid plant at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, for making better use of hazardous waste of scrubbing liquor, the installation of sodium silico fluoride plant with a capacity of 1.2 to 2.0 MT per day is in process at our Indore plant premises while a similar plant is in operation at Pune. In order to strengthen digital initiatives and maintain pace for providing better services to our customers, we are in the process of upgrading SAP Business One to HANA to bring in integration in totality through centralized management.
