Kindly take us through your journey and your motivation behind starting the company. LearningMate was founded in 2003 with the mission of making education accessible and affordable using digital technologies. The motivation was that quality education creates a more equitable society and can fundamentally transform the lives of individuals, families, and community. Since then, LearningMate has stayed true to this vision. Back in 2003, the use of digital technologies was very nascent in education. While technology impacted banking, retail, logistics, and other sectors, education seemed grossly underserved in the adoption of digital technologies. We formed the company predicated on this hypothesis - that technology would have a critical role in education, and today, we know Edtech is front and center of everything we do in education. Kindly elaborate on your company’s innovation initiatives. What kind of outcomes have these initiatives helped the company derive? Having digitally-enabled over 250 customers worldwide, we want to reach thousands of content providers and consumers across the globe. Our core platform, Frost, makes business- critical digital infrastructure easy and affordable, through a SaaS/Cloud model, to small content providers who want a way to distribute their content online, as well as small-to- medium educational institutions that do not wish to build proprietary systems. We envision being the leading digital enablement platform that enables the SMB segment to increase their digital offerings’ reach and distribution. Over the course of this Pandemic, we have witnessed tremendous demand from the SMB segment to find ways to enable and distribute their content digitally; else their survival would be at stake. We expect great success in this initiative.
