Bharat Parenterals Limited is a WHO- GMP and ISO 9001:2015 certified Pharmaceutical Organization manufacturing medicines in the form of Tablets, Capsules, Injections in vials and ampoules, External preparations and Oral liquids. The Manufacturing facility is spread across 10 acres of land, with 3 separate facilities for manufacturing General, Penicillin and Cephalosporin class of products. BPL is a Star export house & AEO certified, recognized by Government of India with Exports to over 35+ countries across 4 continents. Domestically, BPL is a major supplier to more than 15 central and state governmental agencies since last 25 years. BPL also supplies medicines to Bharat Parenterals Limited Varenyam Healthcare Pvt Ltd, which is a group affiliated organization in the business of Ethical Marketing of Critical & life-saving Injections. What has been the success mantra of your company? BPL’s Success Mantra is three pronged. First, a strong foundation in manufacturing set up by our Founder, Mr. Ramesh Desai. Second is Consistency in Quality, Facility, Operations and Leadership by our CMD, Shri Bharat Desai. Third, and most importantly, Loyalty of our Team. We at BPL have been following our Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” since last 30 years. Our key employees are with us since our humble beginnings and now Head their respective departments. Without their efforts and dedication, our success would not be possible. Kindly elaborate on your company’s innovation initiatives. What kind of outcomes have these initiatives helped the company derive? Innovation has always been prioritized at BPL. We set up our State-of-the-Art Formulations & Development department in early 2012 for developing innovative product formulations to make the medicines safer and more stable for our customers. Today, our F&D Lab is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India and has overseen more than 120+ developments of different formulations for our customers across the globe. In 2015, we also started our Analytical Development Lab and Regulatory Affairs division with the aim of developing technologies which can be transferred to external organizations for a fee. Being a Mid-sized organization with limited resources at our disposal, we have always focused on “Incremental Innovations”, both for our products and our management style. This has helped us to consistently deliver results year after year for our Stakeholders. Strong Ethics with Prudent but Quality driven approach has helped us stay a Debt free company since 2006.
