20 Efforts towards employment and training: The different divisions within the ministry aim to provide new skill training and skill upgradation training to the youth for wage employment and self-employment. Udyam Registration: The portal has replaced the erstwhile process of Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM). It is an online registration system for MSMEs based on self-declaration. This platform does not require the users to present supporting documents which expedites the registration process with ease for the user. b. MSME Data Bank: MSME Data Bank equips theMinistry of MSME to exercise better control over release andmonitoring of direct benefit transfers to the beneficiaries of different schemes. The Data Bank allows the users to update their business profiles and other information without the need to visit government offices. c. My MSME: My MSME is a web-based application module has been launched to enhance visibility and provide easy access to various schemes launched by the Government. This application can be used across different browsers and works on most operating systems designed for mobile phones. d. Technology Centre Systems Programme (TCSP): In March 2021, the Ministry of MSME, through the Development Commissioner (DC DC-MSME), implemented the Technology Centre Systems Programme (TCSP) to establish 15 new technology centres (TC). The TC provides assistance to the industry, predominantlyMSMEs in the General Engineering, Automotive, Fragrance & Flavour and Electronics Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sectors. e. MSME Sampark: In 2018, a digital platform name MSME Sampark was launched which aims to bridge the gap in availability of skilled manpower. MSME Sampark takes registration from both jobseeker and employer and matches the skill requirement of the MSME, from a pool of resources who have undertaken the skill development training from TCSP. f. Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): The welfare and subsidy schemes of the Government of India (GOI) have been brought under a single platform, i.e., the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), to reform the delivery system, ensure faster flow of funds, target beneficiaries, avoid duplication and reduce frauds. In 2019, 20 MSME schemes have been listed on the DBT Bharat Portal. Under DBT, the schemes have been categorized based on benefit type to the beneficiary, i.e., Cash or Composite (cash and kind).
