Ecoreco strongly believes that it is a Service Provider and its existence has a direct correlation with the satisfaction of the clients. Ecoreco is the only company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in the e-waste management segment and is the first company registered by the Central Pollution Control Board and authorised by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. I am proud to mention that Ecoreco is the only company in India, which has invented Precious Metal Recovery Technology with the support of DSIR and the same was validated by the NML. Ecoreco’s unique services like “E-waste Recycling on Wheels”, “Lamp Recycling on Wheels”, Underwriting the Extended Producers Responsibility, Data Destruction are being provided since 2005 in India. An ISO, R2 & NAID Certified Company has now an indirect presence in more than 100 Countries availing Reverse Logistic to Recycling services of its counterparts in these countries for its global clients. What is your growth strategy over next 3-5 years? Ecoreco entered the recycling segment way before the Country was looking for this service and therefore had to travel a long way in terms of time but feel happier when look back that its foot prints have ready path for the new entrants. During this journey Ecoreco learned sustainability in spite of low volume of business during transition of the industry, regulatory frame work to get implemented and of course learning from the experiences of the MNCs & OEMs. In this journey of 16 years, Ecoreco has also seen transition from CSR to ESG to SDG and keep working as per these global goals. Ecoreco has never set a target larger than 1% of the Industry Size as its most ambitious number. Presently the E-waste industry is of 20,000 Crores in India and is expected to touch 50,000 Crores in next 5 years. As per our ambition, we target to touch 200 to 500 Crores in next 3 to 5 years. Ecoreco has never hesitated in sourcing & investing in proven technologies from USA, UK, Japan, which are fully compliant from Environment & Ecology points of view.
