We have steadfastly focussedondelivering paint shops with quality and assured performance. Since its inception in 2006, we have assiduously built an organisation on these principles where any obligation towards our customers passes through stringent scrutiny in terms of engineering exactness and long-term value to the customers. Paint shops are one of the major investments and long-term assets for a buyer along with its concomitant obligations such as Environment, Energy, Safety etc. Our paint shops have exceeded customer expectations on these parameters and earned appreciation for the value that Plustech offers which have helped them grow their business, and led to a virtuous cycle of perpetual business. Plustech DNA lies in our purpose-driven and customer-focussed approach. We have a dedicated and experienced team of professionals who are ingrained with Plustech ethos across all critical functions of Sales Engineering, Design Engineering and Project Management, and can recommend the right solutions and deliver them. We have received admiration from the customers who have acknowledged our critical application capability to develop solutions. Recently we have been awarded with “Certification of Appreciation” under the Engineering EPC category at the coveted SME Empowering India Awards. We have also received favourable ratings by D&B & CRISIL. What are some of the key products / services offered by the company? We are a full scale service provider offering solutions related to paint shop with significant presence across all major industry segments (viz. Auto, CV, 2-W, Agricultural and Construction machinery). We are now in the expansion phase to further fuel our growth, market- share and enhance our presence across geographies, as new opportunities emerge for greenfield projects and capacity expansions. If you look at our customer profiles, you will observe that we have blue-chip customers under each of the industry segments placing repeat orders, which gives us a lot of bragging rights. What challenges did your company face during the pandemic? What modernization techniques did your company embrace to steer through the crisis? We had to quickly adapt to working from home while the prevailing infrastructure within the organisation didn’t support this concept. On the project execution side, the Covid induced lockdown and subsequent slowdown did restrain our resources temporarily but our spirit and commitment to serve our customers remained unfazed. As the unlocking process began, we put our site re- mobilisation plans into action with RT- PCR testing of our entire work force. We trained our site force for Covid appropriate behaviour and implemented Covid protocols along with our customers to give them a sense of our preparedness to deal with this challenge. Simultaneously, we deployed our own procurement and project teams at the vendor end to supplement their strength and overcome bottlenecks. As the cash flow was badly affected in the entire supply chain, we released ad-hoc payments to some of our vendors who were critically affected due to derailed business cycle. Enquirieswhichhaddriedup are brimming once again, and our sales team is working overtime to respond to the buyers. Our target is to achieve at least 20% increase in order intake over FY 2020-2021 which will bring us back to the growth trajectory of the pre-Covid years. Though order finalisation is still to pick up the pace, we expect to see contracts coming to fruition in Q4 2021 and Q1 2022. Dun & Bradstreet
