WILHELM Textiles India Private Ltd (WTI) was founded 1994 as a subsidiary of Werner Wilhelm GmbH, Germany (est 1948), with 2 local partners. What started as a small textile coating unit, has very fast developed into a fully vertical integrated textile producer and processor. Having the Asian Head Office in Gurgaon, WTI has sales offices and distribution centers pan India and in several countries in Asia. With its comprehensive product portfolio for automotive, footwear, leather goods, safety wear, and other specialized technical applications, Wilhelm Textiles India serves more than 800 customers spread all over the globe. Key factors of Wilhelm Textiles are the very high-quality standards, the strict on time delivery, and the innovative, sustainable product portfolio. This means, for example, materials from organic Cotton, Bamboo or Coffee. For some high-end brands, even rose petal fabrics have been developed. Many of our synthetic materials are also available with a high content of recycled Polyester, made from PET Water bottles. Most of the customers’ orders are shipped within 24 hours from your state-of-the-art warehouse in Gurgaon, where we are holding more than 1 million sqm finished goods. Our production Unit in Gurgaon is sustainable oriented and follows or exceeds the highest European social and environmental standards – a factor which differentiates us by large from our local peers.
