22 Experts' View Leading SMEs of India 2022 How would you describe the journey of your company since its inception? What are some of the key milestones of the company in recent years? Girish Manik: Blenheim Chalcot IT Services India Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 2014 as an extended arm to support UK’s largest venture builder, Blenheim Chalcot. Over time, we have transformed into a strategic partner for Blenheim Chalcot and its portfolios. Not only do we deliver operational excellence across Technology, Sales and Marketing, and Customer & Financial Operations, but also help ventures innovate pathbreaking solutions, design robust strategies, and unlock high-performance in this dynamic world. Blenheim Chalcot India has been growing at +27% since 2020, a historically challenging yet defining Blenheim Chalcot IT Services India Private Limited Girish Manik Director & CEO year when ‘business as unusual’ became the norm. We etched yet another substantial +50% growth in 2022 (YTD). My team’s resilience to perform through the pandemic and beyond has been instrumental to our upward trajectory. To tie it all in, we have been honored as a certified ‘Great Place to Work’® for three years in a row. This is reflected in the growth of our team strength, going from 200 to 500 and counting. What modernization techniques did your company embrace that gave you an edge over your peers? GM: We are a business that is digital-first, data-driven, agile, and adaptable to global dynamics. Our committed leadership and talented team have enabled us to be a hybrid organization that empowers our partners at both strategic and operating levels. As opposed to FTEs or conventional models on outsourced engagements, we have pivoted our focus on cultivating a product, customer-centric and entrepreneurial mindset. Our culture- building exercise has helped us perform through testing times. The growth is evident, given that we now add value to nearly 20 ventures, and other global innovators across Fintech, Edtech, Media, Sports, and Technology & Services. This speaks volumes about our capabilities as an organization, which believes in being an enabler to innovators. What is your growth strategy for next 3-5 years? GM: I foresee an incredibly exciting journey as we focus on becoming an ambidextrous organization that is informed by data, with a heart. We will continue to hone our data, technology, talent and culture through best practices and L&D initiatives. I am confident that our team will expand as a valued partner that helps contribute to business strategy, and delivers high-performance through insights, technology, product, service improvements and enhanced customer experiences.
