Dun & Bradstreet PSU Awards 2019, the sixth edition in the series, will recognize and honor the leading PSU companies in India across various categories based on various performance parameters.
Central public sector enterprises (CPSEs) which are a part of the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) list (operational enterprises as on 31.03.2018)
Public sector scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) as defined by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 31.03.2018, excluding regional rural banks (RRBs)
Public sector insurance companies as defined by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and other public sector NBFCs/financial institutions formed by the Act of Indian Parliament
The company should have reported a standalone total income of at least Rs 1,000 mn in FY18, and must be engaged in commercial activities for profit and not for charity
Dun & Bradstreet uses a propriety model, based on financial parameters such as total income, profit, net profit margin and growth parameters among others to evaluate the performance of the PSUs in each award category. Winners are then chosen on the basis of a composite score.
