Global Chief Economist
Dr. Arun Singh is the Global Chief Economist at Dun & Bradstreet. The Global Economic Research Team at Dun & Bradstreet works on country insights across 132 countries, macro-economic research, modeling, forecasting and is known for carrying out pragmatic and solution-oriented analyses of strategic economic and business developments, thereby aiding informed decision making for both corporates and the Government, and helping them stay ahead of economic and business developments.
Dr. Arun is a professional economist and has a rich experience of more than two decades. His area of work spans across quantitative & qualitative economic research, econometric modeling, forecasting, analytics, commodity research, customised research and industry research across a wide spectrum of sectors. Areas covered under economic research include real sector, public finance, monetary and fiscal policy, external sector, and infrastructure & social sector.
Prior to his tenure with Dun and Bradstreet India, Dr. Arun was employed with Tata Group, where he handled projects pertaining to in-depth analysis and research on various economic issues. He was involved in treasury strategies for some of the group companies and was involved in the long-term strategic assessment of various businesses.
Dr. Arun has received his doctorate in economics from University of Mumbai, India.
Dr. Arun has also published many thought leadership articles and papers across various subjects of business interest.
