Dun & Bradstreet, the worlds leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insights, in association with Bharti AXA successfully organized -Dun and Bradstreet India-Women SME Leadership Summit, 2016- in Bangalore recently. The Summit was well-attended by achievers and leaders from various institutions and celebrated successes and efforts of Woman entrepreneurs across leadership roles in Small and Medium Enterprises.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Jayashree Ramaswamy, Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, Dun and Bradstreet India said - We are proud to initiate a platform for highlighting the contributions and efforts of existing and aspiring woman leaders in the Indian SME space. Entrepreneurship provides the most powerful economically empowering avenue for women and for the community and the needy. Yet, it is estimated that globally, there are only roughly 9.34 million women on enterprises in over 140 assessed countries which is approximately 1/3rd of all the formal SMEs in the world. We believe that such platforms will not only help inspire millions of aspiring woman entrepreneurs as well as empowering the existing entrepreneurs to lead their companies to the next level in the coming years.
The Summit witnessed various panel discussions related to key phases of growth and fund raising to improve the woman-led entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Elaborating on “Taking Business to Next Stage, Ms. P.V. The power of learning is often underestimated and impair the ability to achieve their BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal). However, busy we may be, however time consuming our activity may be still we have to set up some time for some enhancement in our learning. It could be formal learning or informal learning but we have to be continuously learning. For the learning will help us to change and will help us to take the change for the better in the directed.
